Hey bud! Well, I can’t recall precisely, I know I got it at Lexington Toy and Comic Con; but I’ve been to several of those, so they all sort of blur together. I’d say it was at least five years ago, but wouldn’t be surprised if it was more. I’d been searching for a true NM raw for many years, and that was the nicest one I’d found. He was asking $400 but gave me the “dealer discount” because it was in the hours before the show actually opened. Spoiler alert: I’m not a real dealer.

I was more than happy to pay it.

Back from the Bagley signing. Must have thrown out the window bag it was in, would have limited him to the bottom half of the book...

Ya I got the sense that his are go big or go home by his design

Still, did you expect 9.4? Or perhaps there is further reason that it was bad for them to take it out if the window bag?

I know mcfarlane can be tough on books.

I also know that myself and others dont always send in books that have to get 9.8

I expected 9.8 and opted for pressing to "be sure". Certainly not gonna lay blame but the thought did cross my mind as well.  🤷‍♂️

Also hate to be the wah wah type, it's a cool sketch but... the color choice and placement make it difficult to see and take away from the cover art. (Why I wanted it on the lower half of the book)

All valid!

Some would say that's the risk of sending, but I'm not sure any facilitator would be like do that sketch on this book. Part of me doesn't blame cgc, the artists are probably demanding certain things to offer the service through cgc. Idk. I like the sketch or its decent, I even like the cover, but I can barely make out what is under the sketch. There in is the sad news the cgc has no qc as a facilitator, and I'm not familiar enough to know if any other facilitator would get it done better.

It is what it is, again I hate to complain as it's made very clear that sketches/remarques are artists discretion... I just would have expected better judgement I guess. I do remember seeing him say he doesn't like small spaces for sketching/signing. So it's a major stretch but some part of me is thinking he went: "Another too small window, I'll show you! Mwuhahaha!!" *scribbles giant carnage face

Awesome sketch!!goes well with the dark cover!perfect for that cover but would not want that kind of big sketch on an asm 361....

Well some artist its hard to have even something decent ,too small or drawn too quick.ya got a good one!its a carnage sneeking in the dark and then blam big face sketch!!it goes well with it makes it scarrier idk i really think you wrre Lucky but not the grade.....thats another story

Sometime sketches are like that....i once sold a sketch because i thought it was poorly executed for what i paid and it grew on me and 5 years later bought it back from the one i sold it to.....sketches are like that sometime......you never know

I definitely don't hate it, just not what I expected. And like to display these, this one is virtually impossible to see what's going on straight on in person, gotta hit it at an angle.

Ugh. Looks like 2 of the cases are cracked with a chunk missing from one of them. Today's the 1st day I've had a chance to really check them out.
