I find it interesting that CGC credits Bizarre Sex #9 as the first appearance of Omaha. I suppose that's the first appearance that's likely to be eligible for authentication by CGC, however. Omaha previously appeared in issue #8 of the APA Vootie in January 1978. Issues of Vootie were printed by a random mixture of photocopying, mimeography, and actual offset printing, depending largely I think on how much money the editors had at the time of any specific issue. I have no idea how #8 was printed (as I've never seen a copy!) but it seems likely CGC would decline to authenticate one.

Assuming you could find a copy. By their nature, APAs are really, really hard to track down copies of, and that one more than most.

@CHASEnBLUE

Not to get technical, I appreciate any books finally back from cgc, extra quick or not lol

When you say highlights? Its not because the other cases were defective or mislabeled, or on their way back to cgc, right?

Good point for me to clarify. I also have slabs that are multiples of other books that I may have recently posted. 😁

Gotta get it reslabbed because of a ding/crack at the top, but I’m happy about the grade. :)

Pretty cool cover too :) one of the 1st ever Skottie Young that I had ever seen. The TPB of this series was the 1st also for me to read getting back into collecting, admittedly said that before lol

Still, I loved the style, reminded me a lot of Earthworm Jim and gave me some nostalgia! Congrats on the Book! It's a Beaut :x

Thanks!

Yeah, I wish Skottie would go back to the style of the last few covers in the C&D series now and again instead of doing the "kiddie" look of his covers all the time (not that I don't love that style as well).
