Has anyone submitted golden age books that couldn't be slabbed?

5 posts in this topic

I was thinking of submitting a couple of old goldenage BATMAN comics. #15 and #18. But I noticed they seem kind of wide. Maybe too wide. The two books have a fold that's not centered with the staples. The outside edges don't match. This makes them a wee bit on the wide side. Is it possible they could be too wide to be slabbed?

Has anyone had any comics with this situtation. Does CGC slab or return unslabbed? confused.gif

I have had that happen where CGC returned a book unslabbed with a note saying they couldn't slab it due to overhang. They will give you credit on your account for the cost of the slab. So when you submit another book later they should apply the credit.
