Here's a pg. from Action #18 that shows the 1st use of Superman's x-ray vision. Strange thing is the wall looks like it is being melted by heat vision while Clark is still wearing his glasses.

All Star 27. Interesting 1945 comic that teaches kids tolerance towards ppl/soldiers with disabilities or handicaps. Life lesson from DC/National during WW II.

Cool beans, Odin! I'm guessing that with thousands of GIs coming back from WWII missing limbs, the subject of disabilities went from tabboo to commonplace in most areas, at least urban and suburban areas...

IMHO have a cigar threads are for educational purposes or to hi-light a comic that is currently in stock in one's collection.

It is amazing how influential that book has been on the whole dark knight persona. It's impact alone on Adams led to some great HOS, Witching hour and Bat covers.
