I have some superman up for sale right now 2 4 6 8 14 and 15 that have been restored. I just bought an entire run from 2-100 and 163-284 so if you need any issues I will be selling them in the next few weeks on ebay or privately.

I live in the Baltimore area and travel to Manhatten so let me know if you want to see any in person.

I was going to sell it as unrestored since the piece added is so bad, but I'll save that for comic-keys. Find the color touch on #14 and you win a prize

Nope just Supermans. I did send in some that I thought were not restored and they should return in a few weeks.

Here are my guesses as to where the CT could be...

The 199 is about a F or F/VF but I don't have it in front of me. BTW I am asking for guide on anything F/VF or less, though the restored issues are tougher to price. I usually price them as "what they would have been without restoration plus the $$ it took to do the restoration." Or somewhere in between.

"Plenty Good Fun Shootem Target You Betcham"? I think that the guy who wrote that copy was just fired by the New York Mets.

What about anything greater than F/VF?

Thanks,

Guide for issues post 100. Though I don't have any 12 cent NM issues. Issues pre 100 it depends on paper quality and whether or not I want to keep it in my collection.

It's hard to tell from a straight on scan.. but here are my guesses.

The staples are correct but the rest are all at the tiny tears at the 3 edges. Also on the back cover you can see the black part near the spine has also been touched.

Also, for those of you reading this the guy from whom I bought the collection also has Superman #1 VG restored, (cleaned, pressed, sealed, staples, centerfold married) as well as New York Worlds Fair #1 VG Amateur color touches along spine Worlds best #1 corner repaired and other minor resto and a Superboy # 1 in 9.0 white pages with 2 tiny tear seals on the back cover.

Give me a best estimate of value? I offered 10k for the Sup#1 and he was asking 20 so we never went any further. He wants 2500 for the Sboy 1 and 4000 for the NY Fair 1.

Any takers here.

I got a Supes 1 in Apparent 5.0 for about $18.5K in trade stuff. But I am pretty sure a Supes 1 in Apparent 5.0 sold on Heritage for 8K.

I wouldn't give more that 1000 for the Superboy 1.
