Bump Bidding or what on Heritage?

27 posts in this topic

Since there is that last round of live bidding after the internet bidding deadline, sales arent final till the day after the live portion.

As a rsult, it really doesnt pay to even bid in the internet stage. None of the sensible bids ever hold up on t e good stuff anyway

I won the following:

Action Comics #87 (DC, 1945) CGC VF+ 8.5 Off-white pages.

Action Comics #104 (DC, 1947) CGC NM 9.4 Off-white to white pages.

Superboy #13 (DC, 1951) CGC VF 8.0 Off-white to white pages.

Superboy #18 Aurora pedigree (DC, 1952) CGC VF/NM 9.0 Off-white to white pages.

Superman #5 (DC, 1940) CGC VF- 7.5 Off-white to white pages.

Superman #51 (DC, 1948) CGC FN/VF 7.0 White pages.

Superman #191 (DC, 1966) CGC NM 9.4 Off-white pages.

I VASTLY overpaid for the two Superboys, the Supes #191 and the Action #104. The others were around guide (or less). I was amazed my bids for the Action #104 and the Supes #5 held, they were my max bids. I was sure someone would outbit me. I kinda hoped they would, but I'm satisfied with these. I may try to flip the Action #104, depends on how finances end up at the end of the year.
