I have the same sentiments I noticed on a submission coming back to me, the page "color". Only 1 white pages out of 5. Not that I remember 12 months ago the page color, but indeed it made me think

 

On a separate submission that popped this week, I had 3 more Invaders from the same collection. All purchased at same time in the late 90's at a con from Showcase New England. All had same page Whiteness measured with my eyes and strip compares. The 3 that just popped were given W (9.8) . I do wonder if some graders were in an area that had lighting issues for a week or 2 or perhaps one grader has an optical deficiency (we are all human after all) or simply one real hard-a**  

I'll post the #2 and #8 from that sub eventuality after I get them back.

finally back recently after 12 months!  I've seen many worse looking 9.6 than this well presenting 9.4. I really think i got the harshest CGC grader this time.

In the early 90's the book was going for $100 raw in NM which was way more than I had in those days so I waited. After the 1993/1994 Comics Market Crash I picked this up in Jan 1995 for $20 at a Sports Card Show.

Awesome ASM Books! I remember when they climbed and I had already missed opportunities, and then that Ms Marvel is one that is on my list and a good "deal" is hard to come by!

I am very pleased with these copies. As a recovering perfectionist I value appearance/price over technical grade.  I don't need 9.6/9.8 books unless the price is right.
