The 'no politics' rule is a good idea because it prevents me making more mortal enemies than necessary. It's much better for my blood pressure.

 

What about religion? Do we have a no religion rule? (Don't worry, I have a self-imposed ban already).

 

How about putting this in the forum FAQ as a neat summary of how to behave:

 

Imagine there's no countries

It isn't hard to do

Nothing to kill or die for

And no religion too

Imagine all the people

Living life in peace

 

You may say that I'm a dreamer

But I'm not the only one

I hope someday you'll join us

And the world will be as one :grin:

There will never be world peace.

I understand the reason behind no political discussion but we're living in very interresting times. I for one suggest if CGC doesn't allow political talk, than for people to seek it outside this forum. I have enjoyed collecting comics for 25+ years but I have enjoyed my rights even longer. The powers that be have an agenda that doesn't get put on hold simply because I got tickets to San Deigo's comic convention. So comics will always take a back seat to politics. As it stands, those powers that be are attacking one of our rights which is also a hobby I have enjoyed equally as long as comics.

 

If anyone is interrested, we have our own forum board for people to discuss and organize to fight for our rights. I'm further more not debating the topic here since this would violate CGC rules. If you interrested please sign up and if not move along.
