How tough are the Detective comics from 27-37 ( Pre Robin) to find?

Was anyone surpised to see that Tec #29 CGC 6.0 in the last CC auction only go for $25K? Is there really that much of a premium for this issue?

I wasn't very shocked. I felt it was only slighty below market. I thought it would sell for around 28K when it went up for auction
