There's a copy of that exact issue in 4.0 on eBay now for $1500.  I agree with pass though, water damage is my number one indicator for "run away".

Got a Cap #33 recently. (NOT as dark as is in the pic.) Was in my Top 15 wants, so I was pretty happy. Heritage has a copy this grade for sale now, so we'll see if I paid the right price or not.

(Also got Blue Ribbon #13, also from my Top 15, about the same time.)

There are a plethora of Young Allies books with Schomburg covers on eBay and MCS, all within that price range.

Good find. I was maybe 12 when I first saw this and the whole spear thru the chest thing has haunted me ever since
