I would bet it was donated on the written promise that the donor would remain anonymous. Plus any leak of information would revoke the donation... So the U.S. Govt. wont be letting names be released anytime soon.

Ok, I see this name a lot. Do you think that the museum curator was trying to throw off everyone with the following: "According to Sara, who called it a "lovely and generous gift," the donor checked with Ditko before donating it, and was told that since the story was a gift to him (although not from Ditko), he could do what he liked with it.

 

So, if the above is correct, that would rule out both Ditko and Marie. Unless museum curator jedi mind tricks are a foot.

Boy, you guys is lazy. As NelsonAl sez, check the OA forum. It's right there on Page 1. Plus, it was donated to the Library of Congress, not a museum in NY.
