i mean, seriously...............if someone is buying this for resale years down the road there's alot better books id put $10k into rather than a non key, non classic, run of the mill FF issue.

if the buyer is keeping it forever as a FF completist or loves that particular issue , more power to them but to me that price is crazy.

Maybe it is a crazy price. But I think the buyer could sell it for a profit tonight if he wanted. So maybe it's not so crazy.

:cloud9: and to answer your question. no, my #40 9.6 that went for $14,750 was even sweeter

where did you buy your #40 9.6 from and when?

metro, raw, mid 90's, same as the 37. sold in pedigree's last grand auction if that's what you're asking.

great pick up and great sale!

im guessing youd have paid not more than $100??!!

Buying the best costs money. You have to be willing to pay crazy money to own the "one and only" best copy of any major silver age Marvel title.

And that cover is sweet. I love the purples that Marvel used in the 1960s. :cloud9:

FF #37 CGC 9.6 OW/W pages. Sale pending at 10K

thats a down payment on some houses around here.

That's payment for an entire house in some areas now. I know somebody who bought a home for $12K cash in Kentucky. Car plants close down and the neighborhood prices take a dive.
