Variants, errors etc

Right, you've just finished your UXM or ASM, or whatever collection, 1 to current, but you don't want to stop the fun. What advice do people have regarding the search for rare variants (cover, price, country etc) and unique copies which have printing errors or limited runs etc. Where do people find out about such issues? Are there any good websites, or other resources. Scans and/or details that can give me an idea of what I should be buying to get a complete collection would be nice.

Thanks slym That seems like a good site with very informative boards. I will join and educate myself. With regards Comic collector live, I joined a while back and couldn't get to grips with it and started using CGC, Should I give it another go? Was I missing something.

Cheers to you both

CCL is pretty easy to use, it just takes a few minutes to get your head round how to Add/Delete titles. Once you've added the titles you're interested in there are some subtabs on the right hand side that give you all the info you will need for each book.

It's $9.95 a month to subscribe but it's well worth it for cataloguing and the info too. If you need screenshots to help you through if you do sign up just give me a shout.

Hi Boozad, I've just realised why I had problems with it a while ago. The software available is PC only and I use a Mac. Its a shame as I certainly would give it a go as it looks far more comprehensive than CPG whic I use now. I like it but there are a lot of errors with missing issues and scans in the wrong place which makes distinguishing issues (especially variants) difficult.
