Why doesn't the Overstreet Guide....

..have a couple of color pages illustrating examples of grades?

 

I understand the Grading Guide is out there for just that purpose, but it seems I keep encountering people who buy the annual Guide to appraise their collections, skim (or skip entirely) over the grading criteria section, and then try to pass books off to me as NM when they are barely VG.

 

To anyone from Gemstone, would 5 color pages in the annual Guide illustrating comics in G 2.0-VG 4.0-F 6.0-VF 8.0-NM 9.4 be too cost prohibitive as a public service for amateur graders? It seems you could use the sixth page to advertise the grading guide as a more complete reference. Just a thought from a frustrated collector. thumbsup2.gifhi.gif
