Wow. The cover to 150 is awesome. I don't think I've ever seen it before. I'm not sure I would be so cavalier about busting out of the Bottles of Death, though. :eek:

Plus, it looks like the Stranger has been busting out the Just for Men. :eek:

I'm looking at putting together a full list of all Marvel Picture frame covers (using the Gerber picture guides).

 

Should I only concentrate on covers that are framed on three sides or do people consider a frame as anything that separates the title from the image. (please say the former - much easier (thumbs u)

I think this is complete, but I there could be a few deletions on there. Also, there are some "tweeners" that fit the timeline, but either used a slightly different design (ASM 113) or the color choice/title placement make it a tough call (Cat 1).

 

BTW, a Marvel Picture Frame book is specifically from November of 1971 (25-cent Giants) to the end of 1972, with a few exceptions (like noted above + some series ended their PF runs in Nov while most went til Dec 1972).
