My 2c 

 It really isn't anyone's business what you and the buyer worked out. Your call , but even if you each think you did right and fair by each other , may not be percieved that way by others. 

There have been many threads, posts, etc where someone in the past disclosing what they paid , that really devolved due to difference of opinion on the matter of "what is fair" . 

At the same time if you want to disclose what you paid that too is up to you. 

Again this was just my 2c

I checked out a collection today that I normally would have passed on (I got enough information from the seller to know it was probably a dud), but it was less than 10 minutes from my house.  A guy that had about 2k comics he's held since collected from the late 80s/90s....he was a travelling musician and the place absolutely reeked of cigarettes (and it was a bit of a dump), I always worry that smell will get embedded in my clothes. 

Most of the comics were unbagged/unboarded - Marvel/ DC from that era.  I didn't really go through them in detail, the smell was really bothering me (which is saying a lot because I work in real estate!), but I chatted with the owner and gave him some free advice.  His price was high (crazy high), but he might come down over time once enough people pass on it. 

There's some value there...i'll follow up with him, but this is an easy one to pass on if I don't buy it.  In the unlikely event I buy them, they'll be stored at a buddy's house.  :wink:

While comics are cool, I usually ask for t shirts and posters.. anything cool.. standees, displays, etc.
