Popular Post Jayman
So I came home from work last night to find this waiting for me on our coffee table… The bottle was from my wife’s co-worker and the box was from @Blackmask’s mag sales thread! onlyweaknesskryptonite, Artifiction, batmiesta and 4 others 6
Popular Post Jayman
I’ve only seen this book in magazine collectors guides and always wanted a copy. What a cool cover! From 1966 a short lived would be contender to Warren’s FM. Came with a cool slick color poster inside! Popular Post Jayman
These Castle of Frankenstein mags are something that was not sold often in my area back when I was a kid. Hence I never collected them heavily an didn’t know much about them at the time. Comparing them to Famous Monsters of Filmland, you quickly understand that Forry’s mag and lingo was geared more for children. Wear-as CoF was aimed more at adults with more book and magazine publication reviews as well as movies. Plus each issue never would shy away from the gratuities of some pics of naked women! batmiesta, Rip, Randall Dowling and 4 others
Popular Post Jayman
Here’s a great Ken Kelly cover titled “Mad Medico, Maiden and Monster”. And the back cover because it’s one of my all time fav Vincent Price movies: Dr. Phibes Rises Again! Popular Post Jayman
Another boardie beat me out of a nicer copy of this but I was offered a second copy. What a great book! Super thick and as a bonus, has all 4 original covers on slick stock reprinted at the end in full color. This book was printed in Spain. The cover art is awesome, and the poster Probably not, but I consider it a title not widely collected therefore the demand for it is not high. Your average dealer would not be carrying copies or seeking to find any for his inventory. This just makes it harder to find but not necessarily rare. The early Magazine collectors guides were in many ways like the Gerber Guides. Showing pics of mags that I had never seen before. This was the first time I saw a copy offered so I jumped on it! Popular Post Jayman
Got these two also. I already had Devilina #1 and never realized #2 was the last issue of the series. So why not complete the set? I have the SSOC #5 slabbed but needed a reader to see how he gets off the cross. In the movie, he just pulls his hands off with brute strength. I was pleased to see the comic was actually more realistic whereas he could not do that and needed help from others. Conan did bite the vulture by the neck though, that was the same! chevalmeow, batmiesta, Artifiction and 2 others

One of the most disappointing movies I have ever seen considering how much I love the first one. And the remake. We don't even talk about that.
