IDW's Last Unicorn?

Anyone else pre-order this?

I'm really excited for it; it looks absolutely amazing...

There doesn't really seem to be much talk going on about this thing, which I find strange. Doesn't even seem like IDW is promoting it very much. I'm hoping they do a big Viking-esque hardcover at the conclusion. That will be a beautiful book.

I preordered the Autographed version for my wife........

How do I order the autographed version?

Hey Joanna. Are starting to collect moderns now ? ;)

I think you can order them from your LCS but you need to do so a few months in advance. Some of the indie sites you can order directly from off of their website.

I am still thinking about picking this up monthly or waiting for the trade.

This looks like a really cute issue. I think my son might like it. I also succumbed to the Cursed Pirate Girl :) I found a shop that had some 3rd printings of issue one so I'm really interested to see this series too.

I finally read this last night...

I never read the book, and I just barely remember the movie, but I'm happy with this so far. Art is freaking gorgeous tho!

There's a pretty in depth interview with Beagle in the back; (part 1 of 3) I think I actually found this more fun to read than the actual comic. (but I'm a sucker for these kinds of things) I had no idea he was such a hippie. Or that he'd rubbed shoulders with so many amazing people.

Hopefully this will stay on a tight shipping schedule now that it's begun. It's been so long since I've seen the film that the story is kind of new to me. Pretty stoked to read the rest!
