I agree with the Oregonian, except for the pressing reference. What sale violation actually lead to him being placed on the probation list?

 

Misrepresenting books, lying, and threatening physical violence not enough? :shrug:

Don't mistake my post for support, it isn't. The method is flawed. What would have happened if there had a been a popular vote after your run in with Jespersen?

 

With no horse in the race Jim, I look at it like this:

 

The strike is action taken by the mods/ admins for behaviors in violation of specific board rules (threats, etc).

 

The probation list is action taken by the members as a result of misrepresentation of books being sold in the marketplace and therefore can be seen as an infraction upon the community of buying and selling.

I'm not disappointed Frank's on the list, but he did not arrive there via the proper channels.

 

I agree. Next time the tribunal should be held with pentagrams, candles, bras on our heads and alcoholic sacrifices. hm
