I finally tracked some of mine down

I think I've seen this pack before, it apparently contains Ghosts #10, Weird Western Tales #15, and Weird Worlds #3.  But I've not seen the other side of the pack to know which comic is visible.  Care to share another pic to show that side?

Those are fantastic!  Thanks for sharing.   I've never seen one of these in person, so I didn't even realize that any of the old DC 4 packs had a cardboard header.   Have you identified the issue numbers of the comics inside these packs?

B-8 = LL85, SM 209, ADV 371, B+B 79.

A-4 = LL 91, SM 215, MM 37, A+H 42.

A-8 = BM 183, JLA 46, FLASH 163, WF 159.

I've been told the cardboard headers are not very common.

That Ghosts #10 is a person_without_enough_empathy to find in high grade out in the wild. Cool pack!

can anyone confirm a 3-pack from1977 for Marvel Premiere #37, Thor #261, and Avengers #156? I got these 3 for Xmas in 1977.  I can't rightly remember if it was in a 3-pack but seems likely. I'd love to get one if there is.

I also saw this DC Super Pac sell.  Interestingly the seller claimed that packs such as this were sealed with industrial staples.  I've never examined a 4-pack like this in person and so at first I thought this was BS, but then checking around I found images for two other DC SuperPacs 4-packs that were similarly stapled!  How wonderfully wild and crazy!

I really need to develop some skillz to be able to patch together images such as this, but anyway, here's how the pics were shared.

Found a cool new DC Whitman 3-pack.  I've never seen Action #505 or LSH #261 in a DC Whitman 3-pack before!  Whitman quality control is on display here, with the middle comic inserted upside down! lol
Sadly, the top flap is trimmed. But from the remnant still visible and the timeframe, I think it would have been one of the "Super-Heroes" flaps.
I've included a sample image mockup of my guess to show how it might have looked with the top flap intact.

Contents:
Action #505
Legion of Super-Heroes #261 (middle)
DC Comics Presents #19

This pack mimics the contents of the newly found 3-pack with the same three titles and is from about two months later.  This type of 3-pack had no flap, so no trimming here!

Contents:
Action #507
Legion of Super-Heroes #263
DC Comics Presents #21 (middle)

Here's a very cool pack.

Contents:
Marvel Super-Heroes #87  (March 1980)
Flash #283 DC Whitman variant (middle - March 1980)
Shogun Warriors #11 (Dec 1979)

Very odd that Whitman mixed up two March 1980 comics with an older one from Dec 1979, plus it's rare that they put DC and Marvel comics in the same pack.

This is the second appearance of Flash #283 in a Whitman multi-pack.  Flash #283 also appeared in a 3-pack of all DC Whitman issues together with Wonder Woman #264 and Brave And The Bold #159.  Both of those issues were from Feb 1980 and were joined together with the Flash #283 from March 1980.

I should also mention that this Whitman 3-pack may be my white whale first spotted way back in 2003 when I had barely begun collecting DC Whitmans.  I came across a multi-pack on ebay that had a DC Whitman sandwiched between two other comics, and I'm pretty sure it was Flash #283.   Just fresh into the search and not knowing much about which packs were common or not, I didn't know if I should try very hard to buy it and it went to some other buyer.   It's been a long long wait to find it again, and this time I didn't let it get away.  I'm not sure if this is the same combo of comics that I vaguely remember from so many years ago, but it seems fairly likely that it is.  Anyway, I'm telling myself that it is!  lol
