I think the fact that more high grade copies are surfacing is the biggest issue in general. Now we have a 9.8, more 9.6s, and numerous new 9.4s. Even though GL #76 is a tough book in 9.4 let alone anything higher, now that a 9.8 has surfaced in a relatively new collection you have to wonder how many others are out there.

 

Pressed or unpressed, the problem for BA books is that there is the potential for new 9.4 - 9.8 copies to be found for almost any book. I think this limits the amount that people are willing to pay for even 9.8s now.
