What can you expect from a DC comic to movie? Haven't most of them suck balls? Hopefully it won't flop like Jonah Hex

Since Y2K...

Watchmen

Batman Begins

TDK

Superman

Jonah Hex

Catwoman

Half and half. That's quite a bit better record than Marvel has.

The dark Knight and Watchmen were decent but yeah DC has been off point. You have to wonder if they do their homework before going forward.

I disagree entirely good sir. Blade 2 and the Punisher were actually very entertaining flicks. I'd sooner move X-Men Origins: Wolverine into the :ohnoez: column.

The Punisher was so bad that Marvel should have been banned for ever even scripting another movie for the rest of time.

My circumcision was less painful than the Punisher movie.

That was freaking hilarious. lol

And for the most part, I agree (kind of liked Blade 3 though, how can you not like staring at Jessica Biel doing anything for a whole movie? :cloud9:)

You have to admit, marvel was a lot more prolific though (like throwing darts).

DC needs to spread more seeds to get more winners.

Wow, this just looks CGI-errific!

And not in a good way.

Honestly, I think if we go into this movie when:

1. we're bored

2. it's too hot and humid to be outside

3. we have a hankering to COMPLETELY veg out with some popcorn and a soda

4. our expectations for excellence are at the same level for when Dardevil, Ghost Rider, or Spider-Man 3 is on tv,

THEN this movie will be a fair enough experience. Frankly, I'll probably go see it at the theater if for no other reason than I'll be away this summer working on my Ph.D. (for the second and final summer session), and I'll need some absolutely brain-dead entertainment to take my mind off my work... and this will no doubt suffice.

But if anyone's looking for a quality DC comic movie from this? Maybe it'd be safest to wait until Mr. Nolan is ready with Batman 3.
