Popped stable

Details please, what era book?

But in general if a VF+ book has a cleanly popped staple I would drop it to VG+

It's a pretty serious flaw imho.

Two full grades seems pretty harsh. I was thinking more like a Fine. Obviously some folks would be turned off by it no matter what and the grade doesn't matter, some won't care. I feel like way back before CGC started giving out all those green lables I saw nice books with a pop in the fine range.

This is probably better than a VF+ (not considering the pop), though the back could probably use some Wonderbread magic.

I with you on the Fine grade. I had a Brave and the Bold #50 just like this with one popped staple. Came back 6.5 blue label

thanks, that's really what i wanted info on, when CGC doesn't green these guys, what does it do. i'll be safe and go Fine. a shame, pretty book.
