Daredevil 14,19

Avengers 30,31

Fantastic Four 47,51,54

Amazing Spiderman 33,37,38

There are some minor keys there, and you could probably get about $3-$15 each, depending. I can see an X-Men #6 selling for $15 coverless, and a TT #1 for $10. JLA #43, $1-$2, or so.

Selling them as a lot, I'd be surprised if you got more than $2 or $3 a book.

Are they completely coverless, front and back? Most distributors ripped off the top half of the front cover, not the entire cover.

That seems true for the 1940s and 50s, but I don't recall seeing stripped books like that from the 60s and beyond. It was also common back in the 60s for resellers to bag 3 or more coverless books together and sell them at a discounted price printed on the bag (technically illegal, but no one seemed to care.)

Hey, first off thanks for the quick response! Next, there are some that have just clippings out the covers. Other than that, they books are complete, in good condition as well. I have around 80 books all 60's. I'm not sure why the covers are off but thats what i was told. Although this was an awesome find! I have a great collection to include 2-Daredevil 4, Spiderman 30-50, Fant. Four 13-60, Thor (from Journey and 125+), Amazing Fantasy 7, and much more. I have doubles of some keys. But trying to trade with comic book stores is a joke... All they want is to buy the product super cheap. Thanks again!

I've seen lots of silver and bronze age strip covers. I've go a GSX1 that's a strip.

These are definitely worthwhile. In the age of the slab, it's nice to be able to read the book as well. And I've found it convenient to slip a coverless or stripped book into the bag behind the slab.

If you can stick repro covers on the keys, that could help too. Dunno where one could get good ones though, but I got $35 for a coverless FF 48 with a repro cover once.
