Mark Jewelers inserts...
Just received an auction win of a Marvel Preview lot (#s16-25) today, and noticed that all of them had the Mark Jewelers insert in them. I've heard of this insert, which had been included in comics distributed from military bases toward the end of the Vietnam War. My question is, would this insert increase the value of a comic by a bit, if any?
This one is from an Iron Man #42. Are "Overseas Diamond Sales" inserts a rarer breed of insert? If they are, I wonder if someone has researched the issues in which Overseas Diamond Sales inserts appeared, and hopefully census estimates. Perhaps someone has already discussed these here or elsewhere?
