Well, you guys got me hooked ! I received my first seven BA horror books today, and you may notice a theme.

The scans don't do these books justice. They look even better in hand !  Excited to get these raw high-grade copies.

First up is Weird Mystery #11 NM+  Savannah Pedigree

I have always appreciated the way skeletons/reapers present themselves in drawn formats so well on covers.  Also, since I am relatively new to BA horror, that I would at least collect what I like.

Are there any BA horror books/titles that are hard to find or rare??

In my experience no, only when you are after HG copies do some of these get HTF.

Besides the skeletal covers I'm also diggin the grey-tone covers.  What are some of the best grey-tones of the age in this genre??

Dreaming. I will pay a lot for that someday and be happy about it. Maybe not that copy, but A copy in HG.

I have searched until my eyes are bleeding looking for some of these grey-tones in high grade.  I really like the way the color pops on HOM 205 and may have to get a VG/FN copy until I can find a higher grade one.......... if it exists (and apparently they do cause Dr. Banner has a beautiful copy). But, I did find a nice high-grade copy of Unexpected 133 and here it is !! (Fantucchio copy to boot!)

I don’t have a ton of pics of my books available, so I’ll start with one I do have handy (it’s a re-post). I love this cover & Swampy freaked me out as a kid. Wrightson’s art is just amazing.
