these are some of the earliest Marvels I remember having. the kicker for me being the little box at the bottom saying "originally presented" in some issue # of a series I had never heard of. :) My twin brother had all the Conans

I remember reading a story about a farmer who listens to a voice coming from an old well. In the end the drunken and disillusioned farmer jumps into the well, only to find the source of the voice to be a giant fanged frog. I think it made the cover of one of the titles, but it may have been a reprint.

I also recall another short but good story about a vampire ice hockey player, who scores despite it costing him his life.

Does anyone know these stories?

This is what made me get interested in the Precode Atlas horror books. Loved tracking down the issues mentioned and finding how some were altered/edited whether with art or dialog due to the CCA.
