I'm assuming the labels are inserted by hand and not machine - so how could something like that Subby book be missed doh!

The worst I've ever seen in hand was a TOS #83 label placed with a JIM #83.

i dont see any mistakes

Every single picture contains an error of some sort. Some of them are errors of omission.

By the by...I re-checked my invoice on the X-Men and Uncanny -1s....it's correct. Who changed it and why, I dunno...

CGC's label insertion department is made up of Star Wars collectors.

They can't get any of the other CGC employees to hang out with them.

Sad really.

May the Farce be with them.

I see the goof on the Angela slab (no Pirate Angela) and the goof on the Swamp Thing date (2-3). Guess I don't know enough about the others to see the mistakes.

It's like "Where's Waldo".

I'll leave it open, see if people can guess what they are.

I may post hints, too.

i had 3 errors

sketch cover.....label said front and back

sketch cover front & back.....label said front only

both from the same artist and both 9.8 so i wasn't going to worry to much

tales of the zombie A1.....label said tales of the zombie 1

i called in and got bre, she said send the zombie back in, then i mentioned about the 2 sketch covers and she said send them too

i now have all 3 back fixed and 1 free mod sub credit, all it cost me was shipping which i would imagin is the make up for shipping cost on my part

so far as i've seen they will fix labels if a mistake is on them

but i agree it's not hard to flip a book over and see theirs no sketch on the back (human error i say on this flub label got switched)

but on the zombie it says annual in 3-4 different places one of them being in BIG red letters on the cover

For errors of omission, I'd go with both the Lady Death 1/2s should indicate "Gold" (i.e, the limited edition versions).

And the DHP # 36 should indicate "painted cover" (although I don't know which cover is considered the "regular" version vs. "special," or which of the two is more rare).

My last 3 orders have all had several errors. My newest batch has a lot of mis-information in the 'verified' stage...we'll see what happens, I called and they said 'it will get worked out in the final grading'

Fingers crossed.
