Silver
Don’t know if I would go as far as “ultra rare in any condition”. Wonder what it would go for with no reserve? $50? Lucky Baru

cupny
eBay just sold a Sugar #1 for $844. Any thoughts or comments on the final price. Seems like one of the staples is pulled? Lucky Baru, 1950's war comics and FoggyNelson 1

Seems like one of the staples is pulled? i think the buyer got a real goof deal ,.. it actually sold for a bit less at $816.00,, i would have payed that if i didn't already have one and i payed more than that for my CGC 3.5 it's a great key and the buyer did very well i think..... what do you think? 1950's war comics
I believe it could make a grade of CGC 4.0 from the pictures shown.....even if staple is pulled.... Lucky Baru and FoggyNelson 1
cupny
I guess I don't understand why I see Qualified books and non-Qualified books with staple that are pulled/popped. What is the official rules for this - can anyone explain why this occurs?

OtherEric
Still working on the Sugar & Spike run, but I just finished off the run of the standalone Scribbly series by Mayer today. I just posted all the covers over in the Golden Age part of the forums if anybody wants to go see Mayer's other classic solo series. 1950's war comics and Silver 1

Silver
I have a couple of other raws, but they really aren’t worth slabbing. I think I’m stuck at 61/98 right now. The journey is certainly the destination... Edited May 13, 2018 by Silver 1950's war comics and Lucky Baru
