I wonder if that already makes you the foremost Sugar and Spike collector in the world?

???

lol, no I am aware of several people with complete runs, although not in high grade

But yours are in generally really nice grade, and that counts for something!

the last entry into Project: Sugar and Spike for 2013

This one from a recent CC auction. If you look up a couple of posts you will see an eerily similar cover, actually an almost identical cover in #55, however, this one seems redrawn to me.

The final issue of Sugar and Spike, and my 25% mark in the project:

Still waiting to get this one back from CGC. Picked this one up at an estate sale, it was still in the drugstore bag with the receipt from 1967. I don't think it was ever read.

Such an awesome way to find a comic. It's like a time capsule. :applause:

Was that the only comic at the sale?

Yes, kind of a weird fluke, just this one book, still in the local drug store bag, ( I bought many comic books from the same drug store myself in the late 60's). I'll always wonder what the story is behind it, but that information has been lost to history.

First acquisition of the year to project Sugar and Spike. This copy came from a board sale by Dale. Nice copy and a fun story about adult Sugar and Spike.

This issue makes project Sugar and Spike 28% complete:
