You're spot on there, Mark. I picked up a copy of X-Men 94 from the newsstands too, because I'd been buying the reprints up to #93 (for a kid like me, the reprints were the same as new books!), and never saw a GS X-Men #1 until it had broken out in the Guide. And never saw a lot of titles that the local newsstand chose not to carry!
