i remember seeing some nice wrightson & frazetta stuff in them years back, i would love to get them again. I have to put in the time. I think they are collectible in a fanzine sort of way. People will seek them out for contents for a long time to come.

Depends on if you like them, eh?

I think NLs remain popular. And the early ones (e.g. 1970 and 1971) are

getting a little hard to find. I use to see them all the time in the $1 bins.

Now, they seem to be in the $5 or $10 each category. Issues from the 1980s

are plentiful and easy to find though.

I'm sorta/kinda looking for a nice #1 -- they show up occasionally and go

for $20 to $50.

Lots of folks still have a connection to Nat Lampoon. I remember

when they first came out. I was still reading Mad, and when I saw my first

Nat Lampoon -- it was quite a shock. Just like that, Mad seemed like kid

stuff and NL seemed sophisticated and hip. And there certainly were lots

of talented writers and artists associated with the magazine.
