I bought a 90's run of BATMAN from Mike not long ago. They were cheap so WTH ? ... They arrived and at least half of them look straight 9.8 .... he always grades tight. GOD BLESS...

I do think it’s cool to have a copy of something like an AF15 in its original format though, as opposed to within a trade or omnibus. Maybe that’s what drives the prices on these…

I buy the facsimiles of high value books I've had graded.  if I ever need to sell em it's a nice little cherry on top to attract buyers.

The Facsimiles sell well for $15-$20 apiece at shows, and even the True Believers books are a ready $5-$10 (or a bit more for the big books). If you can't afford the original, buying a reprint for $20 is just as good if you want to read it.

Eternals movie is leading to #1 also selling. That’s a comic I bought when it hit the shelves. I’ve seen spec on that issue for a while. A quiet $5-10 book.
