Dead Beat Bidder AF 15

Prostitution is alive and well and apparently on prime time. Who was the pimp? (shrug)

Here's the actual PM exchange again....

The seller says "OK Cool" when the buyer wants 3-4 days to pay.

Then gratuitously offers to let him out of the deal.

It's like Kris Humphries telling Kim it's ok to keep the ring and then suing her to get it back. Too TMZ? (shrug)

My story aside (which if people want, I can probably prove with my call records from that day and a receipt from the Walmart I was at that shows the time of purchase), here are a couple of pms. I was ready to pay, but then it was suggested that the seller can pass it along to the next buyer.

Hey, I won the auction. I can pay you within 3-4 days if that is ok. It ended at almost exactly the same price we originally agreed on, lol.

Ok cool..Thanks.

Hey I was reading where you thought you paid too much for the book...if you think your not going to be happy let me know and I'll offer to the next guy.

I'll let you know tomorrow. My brother might be willing to pay the difference.

I need to know by today. Thanks

Also when I can expect payment...

You're probably better off passing it on. Sorry about all the confusion.

I've bought and sold tens of thousands of dollars worth of items on this board and have never backed out of a deal in the 4 years I've been here. If you want to pay for the item, then don't make the suggestion. Its as simple as that.

That being said this is my last post here. I will complete any transactions I have going, but won't post after that. I could care less if people think of me as a bad guy and a tool. Everyone makes mistakes and apparently I have to take full blame for this one.

The dude won the auction... 5 min later complains about the price. Then why would you bid on it??

Why do you care?

If you expect every bidder to praise you for selling them something then time to recheck those expectations. ;)

BINGO...not the first time he's pulled this BS.
Don't pin your hopes of retribution on me either. From what I read, it appears that you offered the idea to sell to the second bidder before he tried to back out of the deal. If that's the case, I wouldn't start a thread about it.

You are the cold bucket of water this thread desperately needs.

I am the cold bucket of water to your insufferable flame of verbosity.

hm Odd that you would claim disdain for sesquipedalian exposition by engaging in the selfsame behavior.

Great, back to the therapist to deal with my sesquipedalophobia.

:fear:

There's both a cream and a law for that.

i think your best course would have been to let the ebay process run it's course. then get your final value fee back, then offer a second chance offer to the next bidder. i understand your impatience about getting paid. but you made a mistake in offering him to get off the hook, and then starting a thread about the winning bidder.

The dude won the auction...

The dude was ready to pay...

The dude never said a word about not paying...

The dude never asked for a way out of the deal...

The dude may have thought he overpaid but was still willing to abide by it...

Yes the dude abides....

He may have complained that he overpaid, while preparing to pay you every last cent of the auction price....but it really doesn't compare to your level of complaining over a canceled sale you created 100% all on your own, now does it?

If funny that he was willing to pay 2750.00 in payments. But after he won the auction he only wanted to spend 2500.00 but blame his brother.

Not as funny as the fact that that was not what really happened... lol

People have buyers remorse all the time. Nothing new.

You saw him complain and gave him the out. I can't be morally outraged at the buyer for taking the out and running with it.

Call it a lesson learned and move on.

Or continue posting in this thread and the pile on will only get worse.

No need to bother the Board Police on this one, the Village Idiot could have figured it out.

Totally irrelevant. What is relevant is that he still offered to pay and you offered to back him out if the deal.

Do you, as an honest person, really not see how you're in the wrong here?

I mentioned several times that I was slightly unhappy with the price I paid for my AF15. Am I a dead beat buyer because of that?

I see you have chosen the Board Gang Bang.

My sympathies. :ohnoez:

I swear to God if you mess with my afternoon's entertainment (by trying to end it) I will bid on your ebay auctions and then express mild disdain when I win, until you deed over your house to me out of guilt.
