9.9, it looks like a VG.

Probably just that your image is too large. I think 150K is the limit.

well, I may not have the grading prowess of a CGC grader, but I do believe a color breaking crease THE SIZE OF TEXAS isn't hard to see, even in the 'itsie bitsie teenie weenie comic scan'.

The edges of the top staple look nice and worn as well.

 

It may be against popular opinion, but I've concluded that

realistically there are no raw 9.9s available to us. There are "possible 9.9s",

there are even books that WILL BE a CGC 9.9 when they are graded,

but before they are CGC graded... they are not 9.9s.. they are only possible.

 

It's like saying you can buy a WINNING lottery ticket before the drawing.

Sure, there are "possible winners"... and one or more tickets WILL BE winners,

but you can't guarantee the winner before it wins... and you can't buy a raw 9.9.

 

Like the lottery, it will happen for someone, but it won't happen until it does.

If you're STILL sure you can buy a raw 9.9,

I suggest you quit comics altogether and just play the lottery... it pays off better.
