No Wonder the USPS is losing money/IS so Slow

Yeah the USPS should be called the USPOS...

 

No wonder they are having financial trouble with service like this...

 

This was on my door step, coffee cup stain and all!

It's a holiday miracle, but the clock inside from Reno was in perfect condition.

 

I guess the postal robber really didn't want a funny book clock after all.

You could mail a letter across the

street and the PO will pick it up and take it to a large sorting facility rather than

cross the street.

 

I can remember when my local post office had two slots for stamped mail - one was marked 'out of town' one was marked 'in town.' I always assumed that the local mail was sorted locally. That was back in the 80's.

 

Eliminated the local slot because it is cheaper to move local mail to a central

sorting facility and machine sort it rather than pay employees to sort it locally.

Ouch, glad it wasn't damaged. I'm sure it wasn't a postal robber, more likely

got caught in the machinery or crushed by a heavy parcel.
