Costumed Comic Book Fans Will Compete For Eat-Off Immortality and the Right to be Called Captain Cheese Steak”

 

What: Wizard World Philadelphia, the three-day pop culture extravaganza that flies into town this Friday, has partnered with Philadelphia’s favorite cheese steak house, Geno’s Steaks, to host a cheese steak eating contest this Saturday.

 

Who: Wizard World Philadelphia attendees - dressed in their favorite comic book costumes (think Superman versus Batman) - will compete to see who can eat the most Geno’s cheese steaks in five minutes.

 

Michael Turner - world renown comic book artist (Witchblade, Fathom, Soulfire and Ekos) and Wizard World Philadelphia’s guest of honor - will crown the eating champion “Captain Cheese Steak” and draw the winner’s likeness as the cheese steak-eating super hero, securing the winner’s place in the pantheon of comic book super heroes for eternity.
