I don't mean to jump into the conversation - but it seems like, paid membership or not, you are always going to have people who rub other people the wrong way. I don't think I would want to be part of a messageboard that kicked out people who rocked the boat and only kept members who towed the line. There are MORE THAN ONE Troll residing here within this Forum.

 

There HAS been discussion about the Forums here amongst the top brass, and they chose not to implement anything related to the paid membership. They have their reasons, and call them and ask them yourself. Oh, I was NOT the first one who had an idea related to this premise, either.

 

When Fezzik put the $25.00 per month on the Sports betting site, for some reason, NO Trolls signed up. Have not seen a negative post of any kind in over two years. True camaraderie and true friendship there. NO resentment of those who score big, just pure encouragement. eBay? Comics Corral? CGC?

Here's what I think, and I'm not terribly concerned who thinks I do or *do not* have a clue: You want to start your own messageboard so you are in control over who can post what. When they don't adhere to your sensibilities or opinions, you would now have the authority to "ban" them.
