Shark
I have looked at the matrix for clues of other possibilities, but I cannot visualize any pattern. Another reason why Marvel Price Variants are so much better Those price variants are too overbought. Get in on the bottom floor with DC Whitmans now! Prices for them are popping on eBay. I've been getting very strong results for auctions lately. I heard it three times today, at the local show, that the DC Whitmans were being asked for and getting hot. Kevin.J
Here's a couple more Whitman DC variants I picked up recently: DC Comics Presents #3 Superman #327 I used to avoid these like the plague when I was a kid I know that I have a few what I bought to complete sets and there was no alternative at the time. Not sure what I have though, I will have to do some digging.

AtlasFan
These books are great! I used to get them by the bag at my favorite dept store: CALDORS.
Jeffro.
It cracks me up. I remember a time when whitman logo comics were considered junky reprints and pretty much valueless.
B-Smooth
It cracks me up. I remember a time when whitman logo comics were considered junky reprints and pretty much valueless. Same with some copper and 90's books with several printings. The later the print, the more valuable it is.
Warlord
It cracks me up. I remember a time when whitman logo comics were considered junky reprints and pretty much valueless. I've spoken with dealers who said that back in the day they literally threw them in the trash because they could NOT sell them!
Shark
It's only a lower grade copy, but I picked up this Whitman DC variant that I didn't have over the weekend. Found it in a 50 cent box at a local Vintage Stock store.

Warlord
Wow, you totally spiked this thread by mentioning price variants. Time for a revival, here's one that has eluded me at or above VF for a loooong time! Super Friends #22!
Willie Lumpkin
DCP3 by Willie Lumpkin, on Flickr Found this one at a garage sale last week! Found a ton of DC Whitmans from my childhood while going through my collection to get ready for Mid-Ohio con. Most in "well loved" condition. Great memories of picking these up in 3 packs at Zayre's (kind of like a Kmart).

ft88
I have a Batman 298 that isn't a Whitman variant but it does have a DC questionairre in the centerfold. Is this in every issue? Common? Uncommon? Rare? Ed
