Without FF's post, I'd still be scratching my head on that book. I didn't know that a 1990's reprint existed, and I was thinking WTF is with the colors on the book. And I bet you weren't going to clarify the situation.

It think these may have come in a Hostess Twinkies box or with a MArvel Secret wArs toy...just like the Marvel action figures that come with reprints behind them...here's to slabbing those beauties...

 

This is a nice $1 book, great to read...just wanted your input on grade!

Andrew and Chromium pointed out what tells you it's a reprint (besides that ad on the back)--the colors are different. I dunno who did these reprints, but there are several of them out there where the colors are slightly different than the original. There's another one of FF #67 that is harder to spot--that color is mostly white, and the reprint didn't change that white color in any way I can see through scans of the issue.

 

Have you guys seen other almost-exact reprints like this? Besides FF 51 and 67, I've also seen a reprint like this of X-Men 28. I assume there must be others out there as well.

Yes I've seen pre -reprint X-Men reprints as well...same X-men video game add on the back??? there are other FF and X-Men reprints and I wish I could learn more about them...

 

Colors are that off eh? I'm gonna have to get to work with my color paint set!
