SD Comic con, Best con for a foriegner?

Ok,

 

I am planning on coming to the SD con one year and i was wondering if you all think it will be too much hassle to get there and all?

 

Is it the best con to come over for a short break?

Yes. It may not be the best for pure comics buying, but it is the biggest spectacle of them all. Plus, there's great weather, sightseeing, beaches, etc.

 

I wouldn't go to Chicago in the middle of August if you paid me. tonofbricks.gif

The SD con is probably one of the top 3 cons in the US. Although they lack comic dealers compared to other cons, they do have much more in terms of other vendors. They also have huge displays from various companies, and tons of giveaways for fans.
