Wizard World Chicago -- Forum Dinner

I also might bring some suprise guests that I spoke to in SD this weekend 893crossfingers-thumb.gif

Well... let's see, I saw you talking to Alley Baggett (AlleyCat), and that Playboy chick, those two Penthouse Pets, the Benchwarmer girls, the Wonder Woman model and that porn actress....... 893crossfingers-thumb.gif

Weren't one of them going to be the CGC Spokesmodel standing on a giant spinning slab at your CGC booth handing out mini-slab keychains and flyers?

Gary "Moondog" Colabuono!

Sweet! We can ask him about the Chicago pedigree! 893applaud-thumb.gif

Errr ... do you mean the Windy City pedigree? He talks all about it here.

The Chicago pedigree was discovered by the legendary dealer Joe Sarno, and is described here.

Do I need to confiscate your membership in the pedigree club, Scott? stooges.gif

Hey Alan and all you comic geeks -

This is great! I'm now 100% "in" for dinner. 893applaud-thumb.gif

Still worried about having $50 left over once I hit the Con...hate to have to hit up Borock for loose change when the bill comes... blush.gif

Sid, you can add me to the "don't drink" kiddie table near the main feast. I do eat meat, though, so I'll try to keep the prime rib from taking up your half of the table.

I'm looking forward to meeting everyone and hearing stories. Thanks again, Alan, for coordinating this event.

Dan, sounds good. I don't eat meat but seeing other people chew on animal bones does not bother me at all. Hey, from the kiddie table we can just sit back and laugh at all the other intoxicated comic geeks as they are making fools of themselves in trying to come off as suave as they hit on the (hopefully) hot waitresses. Scott will have to behave though as he has to protect his girlfriend from all the other guys once that they get stupified. blush.gif ------Sid

Yeah, laugh it up, Sid. You guys at the kiddie table will be the ones dancing for our shiny quarters so you can pay your share of the bill! "Dance, monkey boys! Dance!" grin.gifstooges.gif

Sid and I will only dance if you call us "monkey boys" and throw empty slabs at us. Otherwise, NO WAY.

The dancing should at least pay for the meal, though...! Hmmm...I'd better bring my fez and cymbals after all. grin.gif

I am planning on attending.

Anywhere you guys want is good for me.

Awesome Brian! Looking forward to seeing you!

news.gif Just got off the phone with Tom Brulato and asked him to join us. He said he would and that Jason Ewert might show also. This could be the best Forum dinner yet! 893applaud-thumb.gif

Can you imagine in a year or two we might have so many people (over 100) that CGC will have to rent out a place so we can all meet, talk about comics, eat and drink in comfort 893scratchchin-thumb.gifthumbsup2.gif

I will be returning from the Cubs game, so hopefully will be in a good mood. Will DEFINITELY be at the "drinking" table. I'd also like to have a side of beef bigger than my head again.
