I'm really happy, proud, and frankly surprised, to have won. I love Adonis' sketch, and can't wait to see what other crazy sketches he and others will bring to light.

 

As happy as I am to hold the Best-of title, it's still all about the art. Subject to opinion, scrutiny, criticism. But it doesn't define me, or anyone else here, as a person. And that's what I love about it. It gives us common ground to connect, discuss, and enjoy.

And before you say "what the hell he insulted my sketch in public" you have to consider that you already opened that gate when you said the "worse" sketch won and the guy was just trying to point out one reason why you may not have gotten as many votes as you would of thought, the color job on the piece. And since so many boardies were piling in Eton saying his didn't deserve to win I think it's fair to go the other way too, especially if we are already throwing sportsmanship out the window, the copics on his blend well and are flawless

 

I never said anything about his sketch directly. I just feel that EVS sucks at coloring. Highly talented artist that we can no doubt all agree on but his colors... not so much. I didn't trash either person's sketch, just ethan's coloring ability. Way to be mature about it GODOFTHUNDER.

didn't know where else better to show this off. I'm actually quite please at both how it turned out and the grade I got. This was my very first submission to CGC. I submitted it at Wizard World Austin. I was expecting the grade to be 9.6 or 9.4.

 

I did this for a friend for his up coming 40th birthday.

He got me ASM 129 for my 40th.
