Batman #423 update: Raw copy sold for $315 USD

Seriously??

Social Media pimp's must have really made a thing of this issue to their sheep. At least it's not a 1st appearance so at least there's that.

423 is a nice cover but I prefer other McFarlane Batman covers over it.  Here's my favorite Todd Batman Cover in order:

1) Detective 576 - regardless of what the "market" says, IMHO this is THE Classic McFarlane Batman Cover.

2) Detective 577

3) Batman 423

The McFarlane Tec run covers are meh to me as a Batman collector. Bats #423 is better. It is similar to difference between Adams Batman and Tec covers where the Adams Tec covers fall short of the Batman covers overall.

Boy, it's convention season, the weather is beautiful, and few are worrying about getting together with others . . . So far I am "Oh for June!" on eBay :wavingwhiteflag: But here are a couple of Copper Age raw sales in  worth noting April and May:

TMNT 1986 #6 ?

All Fixed price sales so I'm a bit skeptical.  Still with exception of #1 (of course) with 73 9.8 copies it is easily the Lowest 9.8 Pop Mirage Turtles of the first printings of the first 8 issues. Also like #1 #6 is only one of the 1st 8 1st printings with a 9.8 under 100. Perhaps finally getting it's due from TMNT run collectors?

I was bidding on the 9.6 in last weeks MCS auction. Went for 180 I think

I've also noticed an interest in early Puma appearances in my listings.
Am I missing something?

No, but both #256 and #257 are currently hot Spidey issues: both with Black Cat Appearances, #257 has the 1st Ned Leeds as Hobgoblin, and both have great Ron Frenz covers - what's not to like?

As soon as they let out Tamara Blake Black was in the Iron Cat stuff I was all over it.
I remember reading that back up story years ago. Grabbed several copies
this past week.

4 copies gone in under 48 hours. Very hot book.

Spectacular Spider-Man Annual 4 is seeing some Heat!
