I watched The Dark Knight again last night. Awesome movie. My fave of all time.

I wanted to see what everyone else thinks is the best Superhero movie of all time.

The following site includes the top grossing Superhero movies of all time (unfortunately not inflation adjusted; maybe another site does that). I included the top 10 from this list in my poll, and then picked another 10 candidates from the remaining movies listed.

http://boxofficemojo.com/genres/chart/?id=superhero.htm

While I'm sure some will prefer a movie not included in the attached poll, I decided to limit the poll to 20 + a choice for other to avoid cluttering up the poll with unlikely winners, so if your fave isn't listed, just pick the other category and note your fave in the thread.

Picked "Other", mainly for the Hellboy movies.

Of the movies named, the first Iron Man stands out and holds up. Using the bar Donner set with Superman, the first viewing of Iron Man helped me 'believe a man could fly'. :cloud9:

On the Batman movies, I really enjoy them on their own terms, but don't consider them "comic book" or "superhero". They just seem more film-noir, "individual-vs-terrorists" type fare. Aside from the costumes they could've featured anyone from John McClane to James Bond.

Avengers (2012) and The Dark Knight (2008) will have such a runaway victory that it may have been better to vote for your 3rd best movie that way you would see a better spread over the rest.

I loved Superman ll for nostalgia reasons, but had to vote for The Dark Knight as the best. hm

Avengers and The Dark Knight are very close. The big difference for me is that the Batman movies are great movies, but I felt like Avengers had a better comic book feel to it.

The Avengers felt like the Marvel Universe coming to life in front of me. It was just so well done and the interaction between the heroes was perfect.

My favorite super hero movie: Krrish

Look it up! (Check out the fight scenes). Yep, I am a total geek!

Others: X-Men first Class, Avengers, Superman II

Worst for me: Hellboy. I could not even finish it. X-Men last stand (pile of junk)

The one that Marvel made.

Really...because the Avengers movie didn't remind me at all of the Marvel universe I used to read about (shrug)

Singapore-based Dr. Siddhant Arya recruits a superhumanly powerful Indian-born man named Rohit Mehra, who was given special powers by a blue-skinned alien named Jadoo, to build a computer that can forecast the future, which results in an accident that kills Rohit. When this news reaches Rohit's mother, Sonia, in India, she passes this on to Rohit's wife, Nisha, who has just given birth to a son named Krishna. However, Nisha, unable to handle this devastating news, passes away, leaving Krishna to be brought up by Sonia. When Krishna is enrolled in school, she notices that he has the same intellectual and physical powers that his father possessed, so in order to shield him from any harm, she moves to a secluded and remote area in a mountainous region of the country, where he grows up. Years later, Krishna has matured, has acquired the same special powers that his father had, and is also able to communicate with animals...

I'm definitely going to check this movie out.
