35 Cent Variants

Just picked up three 35 cent variants.

 

I know that some of the regular posters here are trying to put together a list of confirmed sightings. Don't know if these will help or just duplicate...

The original owner thinks he bought them in Santa Cruz but his memory is fuzzy. He thinks he has more books from the same time period, but we'll see...

Were these only distributed in certain states like the Superman logo variants JLA 3 & Firestorm 61?

As far as most can tell, yes. I seem to find a lot of people from the south having them unknowingly up for auction..

Well, you know what they say about the people from the South!

Collectors in the South have complete runs of yellow & tan bks. Possibly hurricane damaged.

It's the first time I have personally seen any of the westerns, whether in my possession or not. I know with the 30 cent variants, which I have owned just over 500 in the past three years, that the westerns and reprint books, especially horror reprints, are the hardest to find. Paul Merolle has a good website documenting the variants, although it is heavier on 30c knowledge since there is frankly more intel available.
