The Secrets of Young Brides aren't often revealed in Englandville so I snap them up whenever I see them, pence or cents.

As we Charlies know, the cover is often a swipe from an interior panel. Though I like the actual cover here, I can't help but think they missed a trick by not using the later panel shown below which is far more striking:

Pike was one of the greatest romance artists ever. Schomburg, Baker, Kamen, Feldstein, Doolin, and Lubbers laid the foundation for GGA/Romance but Pike took it to another level.

Notwithstanding that I just got a copy back into my collection, I consider Pike's cover to Young Romance 150 to be THE iconic DC romance cover, and right up there with the best of the Golden Age.
