Joe Shuster's Birthday Wed.7/10 Party @ the Comic Book Lounge w/ Francis Manapul

Had he survived, Joe Shuster would be 99 years old on Wednesday, July 10th and to celebrate we're having a party at THE COMIC BOOK LOUNGE + GALLERY to mark the occasion and to do some fundraising for the Joe Shuster Awards.

There will be cake, a raffle, art and prints on sale and a number of local artists will be in and willing to sketch for fans in exchange for a donation to the JSAs. The party starts at 7pm and will run until 10pm.

 

We are also proud to announce that FRANCIS MANAPUL will be making an appearance and will be doing a limited number of sketches (in exchange for a donation). Francis has taken the year off conventions and this is his only public appearance scheduled in 2013. A few of his studio-mates will be dropping by and we may have a few surprise guests.

 

 

It will also be the last day of our CANADA DAY(S) SALE
