Any help would be appreciated. Just curious what kind of label/grade this specific copy would receive.

 

Notes:

 

1) Back cover is missing.

 

2) Front cover is held on by 5 extra staples (original staples are clean/intact and holding the interior together).

 

3) Interior of book is complete and nice (no loose pages).

 

4) Two noticeable tape stains on the FC (there is no tape currently on the book).

So consensus seems to be around 0.5 on the book, but I am curious as to whether this book is considered incomplete or not. What would the CGC label look like? Green? Blue? Purple because of the extra staples? Would it state "incomplete" on the label?

 

Any help in answering the above question would be appreciated!

Oops. I somehow didn't notice the back cover. So, yeah, 0.5 is right.

 

Whether or not it's better than my copy is still debatable though. If I had mine graded it would be a restored Apparent 0.5 (amateur, slight). But I love it.

Interesting to see if this will come back as restored, since tape was removed? Although it's possible the tape simply fell off due to age. Do the extra staples count as amateur resto? This book is an interesting case, if you do end up submitting please post the results.
