Pittsburgh Con September 27-29 2013

Anyone planning to go to this con? I've always found it to be a great buyer's con for new comics, mid-grade silver, statutes and and books, but I haven't been in a couple of years. Any thoughts?

It's on my list. Have not missed one since 2001. Enjoy this show every year.

I think I'm going too. I skipped a couple of years but looking forward to it this year. Always found it be be a great place to buy cheap comics.

Yep, cheap comics(if you don't mind spending some time digging), great guest list(Steranko, Perez, Trimpe, Kitson, Balent and others) light crowds allows you to actually chat with guests(Friday especially), all around just a good time. Quick Sketches are a blast as well. Hope you enjoy it, I know I will. Oh yeah....welcome back!

I'll be going. Last year the crowd was pretty spread thin, but I found some pretty good books. The year before Stan Lee drew a big crowd.

Not sure if I'll make it this year, but I usually go. Might get there one of the days but money kinda tight right now...

Wasn't the greatest show.

 

Everything could be seen in a day. Jokers daughter anywhere from $40 - $80. Which shows it was mostly bs modern dealers.

 

Greg Reece has some amazing books, but he also has a website.

 

if I didn't go to the show just to meet Steranko I'd be pretty upset for wasting my time.
